Greetings, my name is Charles Horace. Welcome to my website blog! I have primarily orchestrated about five pages that will focus on the aspects to which I believe narrates the human world. The five categories are Humanity, Poetry, The Mind & Heart, The Traveler, and Theodore. Please feel free to explore the website. I have included a brief summary at the top of each topic page indicating the purpose of the content’s postings.

Good Vibes, Good Times. San Diego, California. Circa 2023.
Please allow me to add narration to our humanity by introducing myself. As I begin, let me conduct a cultural greeting in the Navajo way. As Diné, it is always important to introduce yourself through the clan system.
Therefore, I am Coyote Pass Clan born for the Salt Clan. My Maternal Grandfather’s clan is Red Running into the Water Clan and my Paternal Grandfather is of the Hopi Tribe. My Maternal Grandmother grew up in the gorgeous mountains of Tsaile and my Maternal Grandfather started his journey from the open lands of Whitecone area. My Paternal Grandmother is from the quiet community of Tuba City and my Paternal Grandfather is from the mesas of Kykotsmovi Village. And in that way, that is who I am in the Navajo culture.
I am from the Diné Nation, which spans across three states of America: Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. My hometown is Window Rock, AZ. And what is unique about this place is that it pretty much sits in-between the borders of Arizona and New Mexico. Thus, growing up I was able to experience the cultures of both states. I was able to enjoy the Green Chile of New Mexico and the Dry Heat of Arizona.
In regards to my professionalism, I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Northern Arizona University . I have taught High School English for the past 3 years in both Arizona and New Mexico. And I am soon to begin my M.A. in English Literature with the University of New Mexico starting Fall of 2024. Afterwards, I plan to exceed and eventually aim for a PhD. in English Literature. I am hoping that this website not only highlights the beauty of humans, but would also challenge my skills as a writer.
My goal is that this website will serve as a window telling the stories of the humans we see each day; both through the narratives of the vast people I encounter and through the lens of my own story. I hope you will enjoy this website as much as I enjoy posting content. Please subscribe or follow to my other social media outlets. Much love to all!
